Single/Three-Phase VFD Input/Output Reactors

The series reactors carry AC current and are essential VFD accessories. Input reactors (commutation reactors) limit commutation voltage drop, suppress harmonics, limit di/dt and du/dt, decouple parallel converters, and protect against voltage surges, switching impulse currents, and radio interference. Output filter reactors compensate for long-cable charging current, limit cable-capacitance-induced motor winding voltage rise, improve output waveform, reduce motor noise, and increase VFD efficiency.
